Hellebore in "Toms garden" under the pear tree. Most of our hellebores have nodding heads, so to photograph inside the flowers you have to lie down on the path, rest the camera on a lump of geologically significant sandstone and wait for a lull in the biting north wind . Posted by Picasa

This is a winter flowering evergreen clematis! it looses its leaves in summer! Well I suppose with flowers this tiny it wouln't get noticed if it bloomed in summer. Posted by Picasa
