Spring is just around the corner ( or so it seemed today.) Richard got the new growing season off to a good start by planting one of his favourite trees ( Cercidiphyllum) in a space we cleared yesterday of brambles etc ( see heap in background)
It is right up near the top corner of the deer fenced garden infront of the copse by Pop's Red Oak and Gran's Chestnut.
I also made a start with the veg, planting salad greens in a window box for inside the conservatory, plus some early carrots and broad beans in pots.
Jethro has been very busy too, clearing out another goat pen so we can sort through some more belongings ,store them tidily and hopefully chuck a load of rubbish. It yeilded a good amount of manure for the garden as well!
