Pink fields at Bisterne...a tiny plant called Erodium (like a miniature geranium) has colonised where the grass has been sprayed off, presumably for a set aside grant.

 

Aquilegia ( Columbine) a fancy variety with clematis shaped flowers. 

 

 

 

Early purple orchids amongst Bluebells. Whilst taking this shot I had a lovely phone call from Jethro.....The perfect Birthday moment!
